How long did you own your Alienware?

M17X R1 .... December 2009  6 months later failed beyond repair, was replaced after attempt to revive ...

M17X R2 Replacement # 1 # 2 and#3 ,   i held another 6 months then when recived the final replacement system(# 3)  i sold it before i opened the box ....

Total Time with Alienware .. 1 year 12 days 4 hours 17 minutes :O yes i timed it it was so bad :(

Time Spent with Dell Mainstream...... P3 days and counting still to this day .. (P3 still runs today)

Dell XPS M1530.... this was pre alienware takeover (Feb 2008)  owned it 3 years gave to sister still running (after nvidia fail chipset was finally fixed.. not dells Fault)  this machine was comparable to the M15 alienware at the time.....

I have had my R3 w/ I7-2600 and GTX 580 15 months and counting. No poblems since one lock up during updates on the first day. Just bought a R4 for my son. He has had it only a couple of weeks but working great. I have been buying DELL for years, a total of 8 so far.

I have my Aurora R4 since April 2012 without problem (nothing that could not be fixed by me)

My friend have a Aurora R3 since July 2011, never had any problem.

I'm at pretty much 1 yr to the day with this M18x, I have 2 issues, one which is a keyboard thing which has been like that from day one, but not enough of an issue to report it. Current issue is graphics card error, which is dragging on, its not without problems.

M17X-R1 Nov.2009,just started having Command Center FX light problems after a windows update Nov. 2012
