We do not recommend using any kind of cleaner. Wet the microfiber cloth with warm soapy water, wring it out, then gently wipe the palm rest and chassis.
Yeah, i don't like soft touch surfaces for exactly this reason, they show finger oils like crazy.
What I do is shut down the laptop, then wipe it down with a microfiber cloth (like you would use for the display), usually that will lift the oils. Using a slight amount of a gentle streak free cleaner can also help cut the oils, just make sure it isn't too strong so it doesn't damage the surfaces.
