How yo upgrade my alienware
HI!
nVidia 780m has released and i would like to upgrade to it, so if i buy it from a 3rd party can i ask dell to put it in? Or can i buy it from Dell and put it in? Or do i have to do everything my self? And will this void my warranty?
Thank You

Hi Scare.ware47,
You can contact your local Alienware tech support and request for them to install the upgrade, but most likely you will have to pay for it. As for the warranty, it's not going to void it, but any video related problems or damages caused while doing the upgrade, will not be covered by the warranty.

Hi scare.ware47,
May I know the exact system model so that I can help you better?
You can upgrade the parts. This would void the warranty only on the Graphics card of the computer after the upgrade.
Installing third party parts will not void the systems hardware warranty, unless the Video card is compatible with the system.
Awaiting your response!
