What Alienware model and version of Windows?

Something is trying to execute. Either a legit program installer finishing or maybe a spyware/ virus?

Try a System Restore point ... a few days before it started.

Hi,

Can you provide a screenshot of the Programs and Features list on your system? And like Tesla1856 mentioned, please confirm your Alienware model name/revision.

I believe I got it fixed. Their was someone out there that had the same problem on Tomshardware. It was a an Acer driver updater. No clue how that got installed on my PC.

This is absolutely MALWARE that added Registry entries.

In the future its highly recommended to install drivers directly from the OEM or manufacture. Programs like Driver Booster are to put it simply, malware. There are Startup Object or Service REGSITRY entries that triggers the event. Check both (Task Manager - Startup and Win+R - services.msc) to find any obsolete entries related to Driver Booster and delete / disable them. If you aren't sure how to do that you can use a 3rd party uninstaller

(Like Revo Uninstaller or Your Uninstaller!) that will scan your registry and get rid of obsolete entries.

Their use is pretty straight forward.

The Windows registry includes the following four keys:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce

The most common findstr.exe errors that can appear on a Windows-based computer are:

    "Findstr.exe Application Error."
    "Findstr.exe is not a valid Win32 application."
"Findstr.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close.
We are sorry for the inconvenience."
    "Cannot find findstr.exe."
    "Findstr.exe not found."
    "Error starting program: findstr.exe."
    "Findstr.exe is not running."
    "Findstr.exe failed."
    "Faulting Application Path: findstr.exe."

Findstr.exe problems can be attributed to corrupt or missing files, invalid registry entries associated with Findstr.exe, or a virus / malware infection.

More specifically, these findstr.exe errors can be caused by:

Corrupt Windows registry keys associated with findstr.exe / Internet Explorer Versions.
Virus or malware infection that has corrupted the findstr.exe file or related Internet Explorer Versions program files.
Another program maliciously or mistakenly deleted findstr.exe-related files.
Another program is in conflict with Internet Explorer Versions and its shared referenced files.
Corrupt download or incomplete installation of Internet Explorer Versions software.
