Installing Windows 7 Missing driver error on Aurora R4
Hi all,
So my factory installed seagate hard drive failed me and I have swapped it out with a SanDisk Ultra II SSD. However when I went to install Windows 7 from the Windows Install disk that came with my R4, I get a missing driver error preventing windows from installing. Windows asks for a driver disk, and I do have the original Alienware driver disk, but it does not seem to help. Any advice to get windows to install the driver so that it can install windows on the new drive?

Set BIOS to:
SATA Mode = AHCI Mode
Boot Mode = UEFI
Win7-DVD should now boot.
For Win-8 installs, if SecureBoot option is available, it should probably be Enabled.

Thanks Telsa! Switching the SATA mode to AHCI did the trick:) You are awesome and I bow to your comp-fu bro!
