Installing an SSD in my Aurora R4
I've got an Aurora R4 on the way, and it's got the 2 gigabyte drive option in it. I am considering purchasing this:
It's an Intel 520 Series SSD, SATA 6Gb/s.
I understand it comes with a mount, so it should fit in a desktop, unless I'm mistaken.
I have a few questions...
1) What does "reseller kit" mean?
2) Will this work in my Aurora R4?
3) How do I set it up where the computer recognizes this as the primary drive and the 2 gig drive as the secondary drive? Is this in the bios, or will I have to take the cables off the regular drive and switch them with this one? I understand I will have to reinstall windows onto the SSD.
4) Is this a complicated process? I've changed out a video card before - that seemed easy enough... how are hard drives?

Great upgrade, I consider SSDs to be one of the most instantly noticeable upgrades.
1) Not sure, I guess it' refers to the bracket it includes.
2) It will work on your Aurora R4, although you may need a special cage for the drive.
3) You can install it in whatever port you like best, once installed turn on your computer and press F2 at the Alienware logo screen. In the BIOS, use the
arrow key to choose "Boot" and set the SSD as the first booting device. Then you need to Install Windows 7 in your SSD and you're good to go.
4) It's really easy, this video will show you how to do it.
