Installing internal 3.5" multi-card reader; Where is USB header on MOBO for 4 pin plug? (Aurora R3).

As in title, I need to find where to plug in the cable from my multi-card reader. It has a 3-pin plug

labeled VCC1, USB1-, and USB1+, with a separate tiny one-pin plug for ground. Is it made to plug

into the moitherboard, or the small satellite board located above the hard drive bays? If someone

has the answer, please let me know, as well as the pin order in the header. I assume the ground

will be first, then VCC1, etc., but need to know top-to-bottom of header (or left-to-right) depending

on orientation of header, or the other way around. Wherever it may be. Oh yes, my plug(s) is/are female.

Any assistance greatly appreciated.  -

It will plug into one of the motherboard usb headers on the motherboard itself. The headers are color coded on some boards so you can tell what each pin is. Just plug in the 3-pin and then the ground to the header.

Codes are : 5V / Red , D+ / Green , D - / White , Ground / Black. This is a pic of a standard USB header layout.

For my Area 51 ALX, the 3.5 multi-card reader plugs into a USB header on the MIO board that controls the lighting and motorized front door....

You can use the header on the mio or the mobo. Doesn't matter.

On my MIO board there are only two unused headers with four pins, one above the other on the upper

right side of the board. The top one is labeled "Bluetooth", the bottom "Wireless".  Are these the USB

headers?

Thanks for the assistance.

Thanks; the pinout diagram will help. However, both of the USB headers on my motherboard are

in use by the system.

Finally found the bloody header, and got the thing hooked up right and working. Thanks to your

pic, which was absolutely what I needed. Thank you *VERY* much!
