Hi Azermath,

Drain the MB power (Turn off computer, remove AC Adapter and Battery, press and hold the power button down for about 20 seconds - the computer is not expected to turn on, reconnect the AC Adapter and Battery).

Update BIOS to latest version from the following link:

http://dell.to/ZMSnKT

  • During BIOS update verify that the computer is connected to an AC Adapter.
  • Disconnect any third party peripherals connected to the computer before performing BIOS update.
  • Do not turn off the computer during the BIOS update.
  • Do not restart the computer during the BIOS update.

Note: Plug your computer to a good, working wall jack before you update the BIOS. If you experience a loss of AC power or a significant voltage sag/spike during the BIOS flash, you will either have to buy a new BIOS chip or buy a new motherboard.

Now create a new AlienFX theme:

- Open the AlienFX Editor in Command Center:

- Access the Theme tab in the upper left corner of the AlienFX Editor and choose the New Theme Option to create a new theme:

Save the new theme at the location and name of your preference by selecting the Save Theme option:

- Reinstall the latest Alienware Command Center from the following link:

http://dell.to/ZJLQAL

If needed, create a new AlienFX theme again.

Click the below link which has troubleshooting/information about Alien FX:

Install .Net framework 4.5 version from the below link:

After installation of Operating system, did you install the drivers in correct order?

If not, refer the following link which has the correct order to download and install the drivers:

Hi Azermath,

Where did you get the Command Center you installed, from the disk or from support.dell.com?

When you uninstalled and re installed the command center, did you follow the steps in the article below?

How to uninstall and reinstall the Alienware Command Center?

If you installed the command center version in the disk, uninstall it following the steps above and download it from the support site and install it.

Hi,

Clear the CMOS, follow the steps in page 23 of this service manual to remove it and put it back in, after that, install the On screen display driver and then re install the command center following the steps in the article I shared and make sure you download and install the Command Center in support.dell.com (if it doesn't work the first time, try it a second time).

Here's the link for the Command Center's download:

M17x R2 Command Center

Let us know how it goes please.
