Locked BIOS Setup, Alienware M17x R4

My laptop BIOS has a admin password enabled, and I can't modify any settings. I have never set one, and I have been the only owner of the system. I need help, I can't get UEFI boot to work because of this :(

Since you are out of warranty, you're going to need to pay for the call -- to Alienware in USA.

Ok, the only problem is that I'm outside of the US, can I contact them by email?

Call Dell.  Upon verification of ownership, they will generate a master password you can use to clear the existing password.

Not for a security related issue, no.

Transfer ownership to your current location, and then call for support.

Ok, I made the request. Is there any problem that Dell Mexico (where I am) have never sold 17-inch Alienware models?

The laptop was purchased in the US via XoticPC, then sent to Mexico. The warranty expired 4 months ago.

Was the system purchased new from Dell, or from a third party?  Is the system under warranty?

You should contact them for assistance, then.

I have done that, they told that only the manufacturer can provide the unlock password.

Well, now I feel like a really stupid person. To make a long story short, I have another laptop that has a BIOS password, I tried the same password on the Alienware and voila, I was the correct password (still, I can't remeber setting it). Thanks ejn63 for your time and support, I deeply appreciate it..
