Loose Displayport on NEW AMD Radeon R9 370 Alienware X51 R2

I just unboxed a new X51 with the 4GB Radeon R9370 and the Monster Displayport cable I connected it to wont stay connected. The latches on the cable won't seat in the connectors holes.

This results intermittent loss loss signal to the monitor. The monitor is the Dell U2713HM which only runs in high res with Displayport.

It doesn't look like a manufacturing issue on the connector, the holes look too small and misplaced to accept the latches.

Has anyone else seen this? Has anyone else had success with Displayport on the R9370?
