M14X Windows 8.1 Super Slow... 100% disk usage...
So I just reformatted my PC using windows reset back to the factory format of Windows 8. Now after updating it back to windows 8.1 my laptop is back to its very slow self with 100% disk usage.
Also the windows updater doesn't seem to work anymore as its currently stuck at 0% for the past 1hour, I'll just leave this on over night and see how it goes.
Any tips on how to fix this laptop? Do I have a bad HDD that needs replacement? I used the windows reset as my AlienRespawn wasn't working on Windows 8.1 and if I have a new HDD how do I install windows as I don't have the CD.

I will recommend you to make a clean installation of windows if you don’t have the cd you can contact the technical support department so they can send you one.
And to make sure there are not hardware issues you can run a PSA diagnostic.
