M14X disc drive not working properly.
So whats happening is. I put a disc in and it doesn't recognize that it has information on it.
For example. If I put my sims 3 disc in. It will recognize there is a disc in there but it says it's blank and it won't load.
It's driving me insane. It means I HAVE to download everything. My internet download has taken a serious hit over the last few days. I can't figure out why either.
I've run EVERY Dell scan possible. I've used the PC Doctor and anything my computer came with for checking the hardware but it all keeps coming back saying that its working properly.
Help would really be appreciated!

I followed that link, kind of. It told me to go to windows 7 and look under "let me fix it myself"
All I did was uninstall it and restart the computer.
I wasn't aware you could uninstall a disc drive and then it re-installs itself. :)

So it said there were 2562 errors on my computer using that errorend software but that can't be possible because I always do maintenance to it and make sure everything is up to date. It also wanted me to pay for it. No thanks.
