do you have the system discs and resources disc? if so the insert the OS disc and power off the computer then power it back on press f10 repeatedly til you get into the onetime boot menu from there select the cd dvd option and hit enter should work for you from there

Have tried getting into the bios and the boot priority but still nothing happens just hangs on the alienware load screen.

F2 gets you into setup F10 get a you into boot order your gonna have to be more descriptive. To be able to help you further.
