M17X black Screen

I got an Alienware M17x on tuesday. It has the Radeon 7970m. I was playing a  game when the screen went black. I could still hear sound. I force shut down with the power button let sit for about 5 min and then powered back up. Backlight came on but black screen right from the start could hear normal windows tune on start up. Any info would be great.   Thanks

Since you just got the system Tuesday you should contact tech support. It's much easier to trouble shoot over the phone then on the forums plus they can send parts if needed.
