M17x r1 upgrade components
Hello all,
I have an aging M17x r1 which is coming up 6 years old and feeling the strain of modern technology improvements. I use the laptop for gaming mainly.
I am slightly computer savvy but not too sure as to what I can upgrade to and where to locate the parts. I have already upgraded the hard drive to 1TB.
Any suggestions as to what I can upgrade?
Any help would be much appreciated,

Thank you for this information. I will be upgrading my processor from Q9000 to QX9300.
As for the graphics card I'm currently running a radeon mobility 4870 HD 1gb. If there anything inbetween this and the 6970m? As that is a bit pricy looking at around £200. Also could I switch from AMD to Nvidia without software problems?
