Multiple (possibly related) problems on Alienware 17
I have recently been having some problems that I believe may be related with my Alienware 17.
1. Frequent BSOD citing usb bugcode. I have reloaded the USB driver, no change.
2. When moving the display I get the two-tone beep indicating that a USB device was removed
3. AlienFX is giving an error that some of the hardware specified by the theme is not present, can't enable/disable theme. The running theme still works, I just can't change it. AlienFX icon in system tray indicates that it is disabled, option to enable is grayed out.

Hi texturtle,
Use Blue Screen View to retrieve the BSOD error code and help determine what's causing it.
Try following the troubleshooting steps in this article to fix the AlienFX issue.
Let me know the results.

The files highlighted by the blue screen viewer are ntoskrnl.exe and usbhub.sys.
The AlienwareFX tester gives the following message:
It seems there is some problem with the AlienFX board.
