New Alienware 15 Black screen
This isn't like the other black screen issues I've seen on here.
There's no cursor and it happens either right after logging in to windows or just randomly while logged in. The screen is black and there is a green vertical line that goes the full length of the screen on the left edge of the screen.
No cursor and totally unresponsive. Requires holding the power button down. Once it happens it usually takes a couple reboots for it to not happen again.
The problem exists on windows 8.1 and windows 10. Tried a few different nvidia drivers and the issue still exists.
No Events found!

Hi,
Can you connect an external monitor or TV to your Alienware using an HDMI cable and test if this issue also happens on the external display? If this issue does not happen on the external display, the problem could be with the LCD screen.

I'll try. It happens pretty randomly but I'll see if it happens tonight.

Tried it for a few days and unable to reproduce it while connected to an external monitor.
Still happens when not connected though.
