No Keyboard Detected, 3 beeps.
Hi folks,
here's my issue now. During POST hear three beeps, then it writes "No Keyboard detected". I see both keyboard and mouse have light off, on the desktop, the lights are on. I tried another keyboard, in multiple USB, but it doesn't work.
Thx all.

From bad to worst.
I tried clearing CMOS, now a new error message adds up to the rest:"CMOS Checksum bad".
I can't figure it out how to solve this mess of problems.
Support needed down here :(

Sounds like motherboard might be going out, so CMOS reset has to work instead.
Pull battery, and leave reset jumper on for a while.
Install new battery, Reset jumper to normal, bring machine up, go into BIOS right away, select BIOS Defaults.

Bad news.
I switched to a new battery, things are the same. However I'm not pretty sure how to clear CMOS. What do you mean exactly with "leave jumper on"?
Thx for your support again.

Hi Tesla,
there could be an error on manual?
I read:
2. Reset the current password and CMOS settings:
3.Locate the 3-pin CMOS or password-reset jumper on the system board a. (see “System Board Components” on page 14).
Remove the jumper plug from the CMOS or password-reset jumper b. pins 2 and 3.
Place the jumper plug on the CMOS or password-reset jumper
c. pins 1 and 2 and wait for approximately five seconds.
Remove the jumper plug and replace it on the CMOS or password reset d. jumper pins 2 and 3.
actually i have pins 1 and 2 plugged as default, which is opposite from what described in the manual.
My pins default position is the same as shown in this picture

- Maybe even install a lower-power but known-good video card.
Remove and re-attach all connectors, DIMMs, etc.
No CPU, MB, or GPU OverClocks should be activated. All stock speeds.

Beep code: Three = Possible motherboard failure — Chipset error
So, what is actually connected to motherboard right now (internally and externally)?
Hope you are un-plugging AC and pressing power button a few times before doing anything inside.

Hi,
ok,internally i have: 1 SSD,2 HDD (model as shown below),1 nVidia Card,1 DVD Drive.
Externally: 1 TactX Keyboard,1 TactX mouse,Monitor and nothing more.
I changed TactX Keyboard with a standard alienware keyboard, the one i purchased with the original order, but don't works.
Sure,i used to press power button at least 60s before open the side panel, without AC cord.
What should i do? :)
