Nvidia Graphics Card Upgrade options Aurora R4 desktop?
What graphics cards are compatible with an Aurora R4 desktop bought in April 2013?
I currently have an Nvidia GTX660 installed.
Also would I need to update the Bios for a new card? - I don't particularly want to do this. Bios is currently version ao7

Hello Alette60,
You could upgrade to any video card out there on the market, the key to success is that your computer has an 875W power supply.
Now the BIOS needs to be up to date, it's really important. They only two things that might occur is that your computer won't re-start normally, in which case you just need do the power drain (unplug the power cord from the back of your computer and press and hold the power button for 30 sec) and then turn it back on. The other problem is the internet certificate error, in which case you just need to make sure that the time and date on your system is current.

Thanks for your help.. Good to know any card will be ok.
I have never updated BIOS before and have read it could be tricky and even blow the motherboard, which understandably has made me very wary.

What GPU did you have before? The GT 730 is a weak GPU, made primarily for multi-media computers rather than gaming computers.
