I use a little Iogear keyboard/wireless mouse switch to use the same keyboard and mouse for two different pc's each with their own monitor.

When the Alienware is powered down, and I power it up, the OS will not boot is my switch does not have the keyboard switched to the alienware pc side.

I wouldn't ask this but my last Alienware would boot all the way through even if no keyboard was attached.

Is there a toggle in the boot sequence that will turn off this error message?

Thank you in advance!

Some BIOS are just like that. With no keyboard it will throw an error and stop with a command prompt. I don't know what system you have but check the BIOS and see if it has an option to turn it off. Some do.

Sure enough the last item on the first tab in the system setup is for how you want the system to handle error messages.  while it was not set to default, you do have the option to not have the system stop at a keyboard fault.  I toggled that and saved and now the issue is resolved.

Thanks again for your assistance!  My installation is now complete and everything is working beautifully.
