Play/Pause button

Question

I have just switched to my first Alienware laptop from Toshiba and I have some feature I'm missing. My previous laptop had preassigned extra buttons like TactX and one of them was Play/Pause button which worked for most of the players including Youtube and VLC. Is there a way to set one of the TactX buttons to this function?

That will not be supported but I usually use the space bar to play and pause.
