Hi,

If the system works with the original LCD or an external monitor, it means the problem is the 1080p LCD you purchased from eBay. It could be a faulty hardware part or a compatibility problem if you purchased the wrong LCD. 3rd party hardware parts are not covered in the laptop's warranty, so I recommend you try contact the eBay seller.

It's clear from that picture that there is a hardware problem. If you wan't to confirm if there's a problem with the LCD, I recommend you connect an external monitor while you're getting the distortion lines with the 1080p LCD. If the image looks normal on the external monitor it will confirm the diagnosis.

NOTE: The system will only beep when it's not completing POST. In that case, it will beep 6 times if there's a video card problem or 8 times if there's an LCD problem. However, this is not the case here.

Sometimes hardware issues can be intermittent, which is why they might come and go or be temporary fixed after certain workarounds. Did you try connecting an external monitor to confirm whether or not it's an LCD issue?
