Question Alienware 17 R3 and Graphics Amplifier
Hi guys,
I just bought Graphics Amplifier but for now I have no card to put into it. I know that I can use it without card as USB HUB :) My question is about behaviour the amplifier and command center. It is now connected to my laptop using this wide PCI cable. When I open Command Center I cannot change the LED of the head in front because there is no option for that (head is off completly). Also in AlienAdrenaline status is disconnected.
But
I connected all of my devices (mouse, keyboard, external hard drive etc.) to USB 3.0 ports and this is working properly. Even when I shut the system off amplifier also shuts off. When I press power button it starts with laptop.
I have installed the Graphics Amplifier software.
So my question is:
Do I have to worry about my amplifier that it's not working properly ? Maybe all of the funcionality is working after graphics card is insered (I mean that Graphics Amplifier appear in Command Center and Alien Adrenaline) ?

When there is no graphics card present in the AGA, the computer recognizes it as a PCIe USB Hub, so Command Center won't detect it until you put in a graphics card.

Ok I hope everything will work properly after graphic card install. I plan to buy GTX 1070 Founders Edition. Best would be MSI GTX 1070 Gaming X but I saw it's to high for AGA.
