Questions with AW 17 R2 2015
Dear Dell customer service
Let me explain my situation ( sorry for my poor english ) :
I am living in Viet Nam ( asia) now and alienware is my dream . Finally when i save enough , i ask my brother living in CANADA to buy a Alienware 17 R2 2015 for me . He bought it several days ago in BEST BUY and will send it to me to Viet Nam next month . When i read the DELL warranty policy , i realize i have to transfer ownership to receive the warranty support in VIET NAM .
I have few questions , hope u guys help me
1) How can i transfer ownership this new AW to me ? I ask around and they said i have to contact BEST BUY because my brother did not buy the AW from dell website . is it true ?
2) I heard some issuses about the low perfomace of AW 17 with the original adapter 180 W, could you send a 240 W adapter to my brother ( in CANADA ) to fix the issues ?

Hello,
Since you need to do an International Ownership Transfer, the correct way to do this would be to fill out the form on the Dell site. Click here for the link. Once you have submitted the form, it could take 10-15 days for the system to process this. We may be able to send the 240W AC adapter to your brother in Canada. However, we would need to do that first before you submit the form online. For assistance on that, please send me a PM with your service tag.
