Aurora R5 ?
What "network card" ... the on-board wired Ethernet one or the wireless WiFi one?
Is WiFi one an Intel one or is it a Killer model?

I guess you could try re-seating it if you know how to safely work inside without damaging anything.
If not using it, I would likely just remove it. Better to use a wire anyway.

Killer e2400 wired?
I thought Aurora-R5's Intel Z170 had native wired Ethernet.

I thought M.2 expansion slot on Aurora-R5 motherboard was just for wireless card option. I thought options were Intel or Killer.
Lots of AW Laptop users have trouble with Killer cards (just search this forum). They either do driver updates (some unsuccessfully) or just swap in an Intel card.
