Ram speeds not reading correctly!
Well to start I must say that I got rid of the garbage hynix ram that came with my r3!
I purchased 16gb of 1600 mhz corsair vengengance cl7 low lat memory for 175$ much cheaper then the 2000$ i was quoted on the phone from dell !
I went into my bios and turned the xmp off to get the ram to read properly as 16gb if I did not all I got was motherboard beeps.
When I installed just the 2x4gb strips it reads ok 1600 mhz 8gb ram
after installing all 16gb my bios states that it is only running 1333 instead of 1600 and reads 16gb ram
my ram is a 7-8-7-20 compared to my old 9-9-9-25 still a 1.5 v
any ideas on where to go from here ? i was thinking of going into dram timing and setting them manually but not to sure which ones to adjust?
any help would be great!

What's the memory multiplier set to? 12? If it's on Auto then turn it off, set it to 12 and see if it posts.

When you go into the BIOS find the Frequency/Voltage Control tab. In there you will find the Memory Ratio tab. It should be set to auto by default. Change that to 12 and see what happens.
