Replace plastic-wrapped CMOS battery? M14x R1

Question

My CMOS battery needs to be replaced.  I found some YouTube videos showing how to disassemble the laptop, but I am not sure what to do once I get to the dead CMOS battery.  The video linked below clearly shows the CMOS battery at timestamp 13:55 and the battery appears to be connected (soldered?) to two short wires, a black one and a red one, and then all of that is wrapped in blue plastic. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gXGkRKrjv70 This video shows a similar CMOS battery, except with black plastic (timestamp 7:55): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VmKygQGDHws The computer's manual says the CMOS 'coin cell' battery is a CR-2032 watch battery.  So I bought one of those.  But the one I bought isn't conveniently wired up and wrapped in plastic, so how do I connect it to the computer? My computer is an Alienware M14x R1 laptop.
