Along with the favorite picks, turned out to be a good article about M.2 interfaces and protocols. I think the author could have gone into more detail about M.2 slot Keying for a more comprehensive article, but still very good.
I've always thought they should just add either SATA or PCIe to the name of every M.2 SSD. Seems like it would cut-down on the confusion over upgrades. Still a lot of M.2-slotted laptops out there that need a SATA-based one. On the manufacturer's side, I think Service and Owners manuals could be a little clearer also (on specs and upgrade requirements).
