Screen Flashing at Startup
I recently tried did a clean install of windows on my Alienware 17 system.
However, i couldn't locate the resource disk that came with my system.
So i reinstalled AlienRespawn a Black screen while the system boots or the Screen Flashes without showing anything until it logs into windows. I have tried updating the video card drivers however it still is doing this intermediately.
Any help with this would be much appreciated thanks

Make sure your system is running the latest Bios firmware. Click here for the download link. Let us know how it goes.

i have tried with latest BIOS and it still will do this

Were you able to install all of the system drivers? Check in Device Manager and make sure you don't show anything that says "Unknown Device" or anything with a yellow caution sign.

Yes all the drivers have updated to the most up to date drivers available,
The only other change is that it will do it intermediately, and when it does do it I can hear a clicking sound,
I'm hoping that this doesn't mean that the video card is starting to go as this computer is less than 2 years old

Hi,
Try connecting an external monitor to this system (like a TV with an HDMI cable) and confirm if the same thing happens on the external display.
