Since the Tech Support line was no help at all....
I am looking for another video card for my Alienware M9750 laptop to set up in SLI. The person on the phone needed a service number on a sticker on the back of the computer, which has since worn off in the 2 1/2 years I have owned my computer. Since I could not provide this, I was told to have a good day. Anyways, I have a NVIDIA GeForce 8700M GT installed for my primary card, but am having extreme problems in attempting to either find a newer set of cards compatible with this rig or to find another of these cards to run in SLI. Can anyone aid me in finding a reliable website to find this part at? So far I have struck out everywhere I have gone other than seeing a couple parts on ebay, which is like taking a shot in the dark on reliability.

We at Dell do not have access to pre-Dell Alienware PCs or their documentation. Our sales site will not have any upgrade information on pre-Dell Alienware PCs. All Pre-Dell Alienware support should go to Legacy Alienware -

That's the number I dialed and was directed through a number of people before ending up with someone who was unable to bring up any of my information on my Alienware. Dell's technical support chain on the legacy Alienware computers must have a chain-of-command problem if I am still directed to people who are unable to help with my situation.

Based on older reviews, it can handle the following video cards in SLI -
two Nvidia GeForce Go 7950GTX
two Nvidia GeForce 8700MGT
I have no idea where you can buy these though. What I gave you earlier is all the information I was given on pre-Dell Alienware PC support.

This is an easy one. In the black leather binder that came with your system. There is a plastic card in the front inside sleeve. Call 866-287-6727, give them your agent account number also on the plastic card. They will be able to bring up your machine info. Do you have access to "My Hive"? If you do, the video card info is there too.
