There are PDF manuals showing disassembly and also some videos.
Shut-down and un-plug from wall before messing-around inside. Pretty sure the HDD fan plugs into the MIO-Board.
You might need to turn the volume up a bit to hear it, but its there. I can be 4-5 feet away from my computer and hear it clearly from there, it doesn't sound normal to me. Perhaps my ears are just super sensitive but this isn't a noise that I've heard any other computer in my experience make. It almost sounds like a baby mouse squeaking. This started around 3-4 days ago, I was gaming like usual and this noise started out of nowhere. (It's not like the game was demanding, it was Dragon Age Origins, no way that game stresses out my computer to an extent that my computer starts making odd noises since not even Crysis 3 did something like that)
Even when I have my computer case open and put my ear right around my hard drive bays, I can hear the sound but I can't exactly pinpoint WHERE in that area the sound is coming from, and seeing as how my computer itself is running fine I don't think its either hard drive, which is why I think its the fan.
I've listened to hard drives making squeaking/squealing/etc noises but they sound nothing like what I'm hearing which is why I don't think it's my hard drives. My computer has never made this kind of noise before, I've owned the computer for a year and roughly four months. I asked somewhere else before coming here and the person who repsonded also said they didn't hear anything.. so maybe my ears are just very sensitive and I'm hearing things that most people don't? Even though I don't think something like that would happen overnight...

Hi!
It sounds like the noise could be coming from one of the fans. Check solution c) of this article for more disassemble instructions and videos.
