Startup Loading Conime.exe

Question

I have the Area 51 Alienware computer..Everytime I start up it is loading conime.exe  I go to misconfig- unchecked it, but the next time I restart, it will load again..I have went to the regedit and changed the value to 0.  I have run the Malware..It just keeps starting up and when it does, it slows the boot up process.  It is located %windir%\system32\conime.exe   How can I get rid of this file and is it safe to?  How can I disable from the startup?   Thanks

I did and have done everything that I found on it..Did the fix to the registry. Run the Malware program. Doesn't show

anything about how to stop it coming back on the startup..I manually go to misconfig and disable it almost every day.

I understand that this is a microsoft file. But when I tired to contact them, they said to contact the manufacturer of

my computer.

File is not on my computer running WIN7 Ultimate 64-bit in Canada in English as installed by AW.  Understand that file may have something to do with language versions.

conime.exe is a system file used with Asian language support. This is why it keeps coming back. It is a vital file which, as you said, is found in Windows\System 32. If you never use any Asian languages then you won't miss it although as it is only supplied with Windows versions that come bundled with Asian language support I would be surprised if you don't need it.

I don't understand why you want to remove it. It cannot be doing any harm.

Well do you know how I can get rid of it? I have changed the registry file.

I'm sorry but I cannot believe your boot is 50% faster without conime.exe and furthermore, how could you possibly know that when you already told us you are unable to remove it? Being a key system file, Windows will replace it at every boot.

Look, if you want to identify which processes are slowing down your boot and correct that just download and install Soluto. My boot time used to be 34 mins!! Using Soluto it is now down to 2:14 mins. And Soluto is 100% free with no ads.

But it does..If it is loaded on my startup, my computer is very slow to boot up. If I remove, it is at least 50percent faster. Thanks

First, I go to misconfig..Uncheck it..It doesn't load when I restart..I always check before I shut down, but sometimes during using my computer it will come back..

And it does slow down my boot up..I have double checked that.. That is why I want to remove it completely.

I will try the program you recommend.
