Thermal control problem

Hi i'm wondering am i the only one who get this error or anyone got this before?
Cause my alienware had been working fine for the past few weeks until yesterday, after the windows startup, they popped this alienware pop up stating this error. Are there any fixes to this? Need help urgently, it's being a worry to me since i never got this before. Thanks!

It means that the Command Center-Thermal Controller software can not communicate with the MIO-Board.

Try ...

1. Shut Down Windows. PC will power down.

Unplug from wall

Push power button a few times and hold down power button for 30 secs.

Power back up and see if it works.

2. Shut Down Windows. PC will power down.

Unplug from wall

Push power button a few times and hold down power button for 30 secs.

On BIOS boot screen press F12 and run Dell Diags.

See if tests on MIO-Board pass.

If they do, power back up and see if it works.

Note: If MIO-Board can not be successfully tested from Dell Diags., there is no way it will work in Windows.

Edit: What do you mean by power down and unplug from wall?

What do you mean by power down? Hold the power button or the turn off the switch?

Ya, but did the MIO-Board get tested? (for example the lights, fans, etc.).

Sometimes, if the MIO-Board isn't detected, it gets removed from the Diags and skipped completely (because it doesn't show up) and everything else passes.

Yea, lights, fan and etc, all done. I rmb after the pre-boot assessment thing, they came out another thing where they gave me 3 options to choose from. I chose the middle option, from what i remember, the middle option says something like ''system diagnostics''. After that they ran the fans, lights and everything. Nth is wrong. So how?

Try uninstalling and installing the latest Command Center. If the board passes, it's more than likely a driver issue. I've had mine lose it's mind a time or two. At least your hardware is good.

Sorry for the late reply, btw, which one do i uninstall under 'uninstall a program' at the control panel. Or what is the program called? AlienRespawn? AlienRespawn - Support software?
