Where do I find my Windows 7 Product Key for my Alienware Aurora

If we install the operating system with Dell OEM version (Operating system disk shipped with the computer), the product key is not required. For the operating system with the retail version, the key will be available on the disk.

I would like to know if you have got the operating system disks for reinstallation of operating system.

In order to upgrade my Alienware R4 to Windows 8, I need a product key to apply the upgrade key. But, I can't find it on my computer.

As stated above, the Operating system installed in your computer is an OEM version that does not require a product key, however, if you need it, it's located on the back of your system, here's a picture to give you a better idea:

I have an R3 and the product key sticker is located near the rear USB ports on a small side section. Between the ports and the exhaust fan for the CPU cooling.

I've got an Aurora R4, and all I see where the code should be is a Windows 8 sticker, with no codes. I don't see the code anywhere else on the case or inside. Is there a way to obtain it? I had to clean-install windows 10 due to other Windows 8 issues and now its asking for the code to activate windows.

When I bought my alienware X51 R2 2 years ago. it came with windows 7 OEM. Later, I upgraded it to windows 7. Quite recently I upgraded my computer: New motherboard, case, wifi PCI card and psu. Hard drive with windows 10 on it stayed. Everything works, but now, 4 days after the successful upgrade, in the right bottom corner it tells me to "Activate Windows". I need to fill in my Product key code and I filled in the one on the back of my case and it says its not valid.
