Where does one find this mysterious R number for Alienware 14?
I see this Alienware 14 R? referred to, and it is not in my documention, or listed anywhere. How do I know which R number my 14 is?
I bought this in mid 2014, if that makes it more clear..
Does this indicate mine is R1, and my 14" would not cleanly update to Windows 10?

I guess that is funny. According to the sticky above, R2 allows Windows 10 to install and work. By inference, R1 would not. I am not sure if there is an R3. If I try to install Windows 10 and my Alienware 14 is an R1, then I have wasted a lot of hours, and hope my backup works. R2 it should work, hope hope hope. ???? Thrust of my point being that Dell Alienware has adoped a naming scheme that I have no easy way to know which my Alienware 14 is. So Dell, what gives. What am I. R1 R2 R2 or.
