Hi All,
I've been getting some BSOD lately, after some research it appeared due to a driver missing and a damaged windows configuration.
It is an Alienware 17

mid 2013
So I figured to do a factory restore and reinstall windows, but since this machine was shipped in mid 2013, it was shipped with windows 8 and not 8.1. The boot disk I received upon purchase does not allow me to recover my system with the windows options.
Neither does reinstalling the system via DVD boot works. The install couldn't see my hard drives correctly or is missing drivers.
Now I've done a system recovery (yeah amazingly it started back up normally this morning) but i'm still a bit worried and would prefer a clean install.
So decided to buy Alienrespawn Premium to try and recover my Factory Recovery Image and to reinstall the original windows 8 from scratch. But when selecting these options, I get the message that the image is missing or incomplete. When I try to select an other HDD it only asks to insert an external HDD with atleast 100 GB on it. Isn't there an option to select and internal HDD to put this system back up on? I've got 2 750 GB SATA HDD and one has been completely formatted for back up reasons...
Could someone please help me and instruct me what to do in this case?
A clean install would be the best way to go but I've tried everything I found through google in communities and fora's but still not getting to factory reset my PC....
Thanks in advance
