X51 R1 Virtualization option missing

Question

I have a X51 R1 and I am looking to setup some virtualization.  However, the VMx option is not showing as enabled when in Windows. The Microsoft Virtualization check program says it is also disabled.  I am not seeing any option in the bios to turn this on. My CPU is able to support it as it is an Intel Core i7-3770.  Is there any way this option can be added? Thanks
