X51-R2, ASUS GTX 1060
Hi, I am looking to upgrade my current GPU in my Alienware X51-R2, I have the 760Ti that it came with. I want to know whether this will work 100% as I am not great with PC parts, etc. I use 2 monitors, 1 HDMI, 1 DVI also and want to make sure that is not affected. Please let me know if this will be good.

nope.. not recommended . as that would exhaust heat into the case, and last thing you want is more heat in the tiny case. you need a reference design video card that exhaust out the rear of the case like the OEM card.
Kinda like this one scroll to bottom to see actual design.. assuming it meets proper diemensions

I have x51 r1...i put an asus gtx750 ti oc in my x51 runs great..... ( i just leave left side of case off the pc....no heat problems here.
If you are worried i had a look and you can get this card in blower design for around the same price as dual fan cards...
