X51 Windows 10 Reverse Stereo and removing Alienware Audio

Hi,

I've been having a couple of problems involving audio on my X51.

Firstly my stereo channels are reversed, left audio is coming out of the right speaker and vice versa, does anyone know how I can fix this? (Swapping speaker positions/wearing headphone backwards is NOT a solution).

Secondly, the tweeters on my speakers (M-Audio AV42) are not engaging, this seems to be a lack of high frequency audio being transmitted and results in all audio sounding muddy and muted, this is also happening with headphones.

Thirdly I cannot seem to uninstall the Alienware Audio software, I've tried reinstalling audio drivers and software repeatedly, downloading the latest version from the RealTek website and every time I'm presented with an extremely stripped down "Alienware Audio" control panel instead of the standard RealTek HD control panel. I believe that both of my previous problems would be solved by accessing the RealTek control panel and I can't find an answer to this problem anywhere.

If anyone can solve any or all of these problems it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Bison

Hello,

Make sure your system is running the latest Bios firmware, click here for the Bios download link. In Device Manager under Audio, uninstall all of the Audio drivers that you show there, then go the Programs and Features and uninstall all of the Realtek audio software that you show on the list (if any). Restart the system and install this driver. Let us know how it goes.
