The FN combo doesn't work since you have a GT 750m. Only works if you had a GTX 765m.
This might be a driver problem. Uninstall both Intel and NVidia GPU drivers, and reinstall them. Do it in this order: Nvidia -> Intel -> Intel - > NVidia. Soft reset to play safe after all is done, and go forth. Use DDU (display driver uninstaller) for this. You'll have to install DDU if you haven't.
ok, so i uninstalled nvidias driver then intells, then installed intels and when i try to install nvidias its telling me it cant detect the hardware. can you send me a exact link to what i need?
You use this to uninstall the drivers. While the old-fashion way works, this removes any hidden hassles. Might as well update or reflash the BIOS, too. Have to ask, when did this problem start?
Reflasing/updating the BIOS and/or performing a system restore may help the problem.
But if the BIOS and device manager can't detect the GT 750m, then the card may have a problem. You could perform a diagnostics through Alien Autopsy (those related to the GPU) and see what results come from it.
I feel like I've dealt with this problem problem, but I'm trying to remember how that person got his GPU to work.
the problem with the nvidia card not being used has always been that way i have just never noticed, and i used that program to uninstall both drivers. i re installed the intell one fine and it works but when i try to download the program http://www.geforce.com/drivers/results/80915 it tells me that it cant find the grafics hardware. that problem didn't start until yesterday.
ok, i did a test on my whole computer but theirs one thing that stood out to me and that was that there is a section for "video card - pci device - pci bus 1, device 0, function 0"
i can only assume that's the nvida card because when i click its property's it says nvidia corporation, it also passed the test it says.
Does the BIOS and device manager detect the GT 750m? If so, disable the iGPU and monitor the GT 750m's usage. I assume you already set everything to high performance.
Yes bios dose say that theres a Nvidia 750m and in the device manager, I disabled the intell and it whent to windows basic something, and yes everything is set to high performance

Okay, so some progress has been made.
Does the BIOS and device manager detect the GT 750m? If so, disable the iGPU and monitor the GT 750m's usage. I assume you already set everything to high performance.
