alienware 18 ram upgrade not working
i have a AW 18 with with 16 gb and tried upgrading to 32 gb of pny 4 x 8 gb /1600/ 1.35v but keep getting the 2 beep ram code.
i have tested the new ram in another laptop and it works fine, i also put the old ram back in and updated the bios to A12.
any suggestions?

Hi,
Can you try testing one ram module at a time to confirm if the problem is just with one of the modules?

The RAM settings in BIOS may have been factory overclocked or has settings that don't agree with your new ram. If your new ram is indeed compatible, your BIOS settings may be pushing it beyond its limits.
You would have to check with PNY to get their recommended settings for your particular RAM.
