If Windows-8/10, be sure "Fast Startup" is Off.

Shut-down machine properly so it will turn off. Unplug from wall or UPS. Hold down power button for 20 seconds to dissipate any electricity in machine and MIO-Board. Wait another 20 secs before powering up. See if that very simple procedure resets MIO-Board, and allows existing Command Center to work.

If not, clean-install Command Center:

Uninstall Command Center and reboot.

Install Command Center  v 2.8.9.0 (Aurora-R1/R2/R3 with Windows 7)

Install Command Center  v 2.8.11.0 (Aurora R1/R2/R3 with Windows 8 or 10)

Install Command Center v 3.5.x (Aurora-R4 with Windows 7, 8, or 10)

Reboot machine and test operation.

Maybe re-seat both ends of the USB cable? Unfortunately, I don't think the Aurora-R4 has an "outside of Windows MIO-Board Diagnostic Utility" like the Aurora R1/R2/Area51-R1 has. That helps to determine if it's a hardware problem or just a software problem (Windows and/or drivers).

If the MIO-Board is defective or locked-up, you will have to replace it.
