fan speed problem
I noticed my fan speed changes a little every 5 seconds since I got it. I looked at the fan rpm and on idle it runs at 1050rpm's and bumps up quickly to 1100rpm's. its not a lot but a computer not doing nothing should not be doing this change every 5 seconds. I know its not normal. is there something I can do to fix or do I have to call dell

50 rpm is nothing, but if under warranty, call Dell.
What exact make/model do you have?

I have the x51 with the i7 processor. I just got it on the first of this month. when I got it on idle it would stay at fan speed. now if im playing a game or just surfing I see the 50rpm difference going up and down. I really hope its normal.
