i5 Alienware 15 R3 truly VR-Ready?

Question

My recently-purchased Alienware 15 R3 has all of the other 'necessary' specs to run VR very well (GTX 1060, 8GB RAM, Windows 10, enough USB ports & the HDMI 2.0 port), however I have the Intel i5 6300HQ, and every test except the SteamVR performance test says that my computer is 'not VR-ready', despite the website saying so, and the SteamVR performance test saying my CPU is fine and VR-ready. This worries me as I am about to purchase the Oculus Rift soon, and wish to know if my CPU will be able to handle VR well, or will it cause any undue complications? (Also, I will be upgrading my RAM to 16GB soon enough as well.)

Hi, The video card will determine most of the performance for VR games. You shouldn't worry about the processor, it will do it without hesitation.
