m14x not using its avalible video meomory?
recently ive installed shogun 2 and for the first few days it was fine but now i cant put the graphics on directx11 as it says that im only using 535mb of video setting whereas im pretty sure that i purchased the 3.0gb version of the gt555m. and my friend who has the same laptop is using 2033mb of video memory?
any1 with any idea y thats happening?

and because of this the fps is not as good

I think it is probably using the wrong card, I think the intel gpu will report around 500 megs of ram.

Have you tried doing the right clicking of the game's shortcut to select the High Performance Graphics? if not, try that. If that did not work, you can check out the link below. It was posted by Chris from Dell in one of his posts...
