screen flickering when game open

Question

i have an issue when playing games. when i have dual screen open with a game running in windowed borderless, when i alt tab to my second monitor the screen with the game open, the screen with the game open tears and flickers. any suggestions on how to prevent that. im using a i7 7700k cpu, 1070 gpu, 850W ps, 32GB ram. dvi monitor, and hdmi tv screen, both are set to 1920 x 1080 and 60 hz

does it happen with both, TV and Monitor?

Just the monitor. And when i switch the game to the tv and the other windows to the monitor, the issue goes away. At this point im thinking its the monitor
