Try turning off option "AutoUpdate - Turn Updates off" (look for updates).

Alienware Command Center should be installed in /Program Files/ ... not /Program Files (x86)/ . The later denotes a 32-bit application.

Thanks for the help.

I turned off auto update and will see if it comes up again.

I can't help but feel this is a little like saying "Stop breathing" if your chest hurts...

I have been having the same problem for about 6 months now, pretty much since I installed Windows 8.  I've uninstalled all the Atheros Killer N nonsense to get rid of one set of crashes, this is getting worse and worse.

Is there a resolution to this (quite common according to Google) problem?

FJ 007,

Start your own thread and clearly state your problem.

I thought I was quite clear that I have the same problem as the OP (that means original poster in case you're wondering).

In every other support forum, it's considered good practice to align with similar problems. Are you trying to generate content?

The thread is old.

That user was on Windows 7.

That user had an Aurora.

That user was having a problem with AlienRespawn.

That user made no mention of problem with Network card drivers.

...

Not like I was try to help you or anything. Oops ... just created more "content".
