Alienware 18-R1, Slow Load Times First Time in Game
I recently started having extremely slow loading times into Skyrim and Witcher 2 (About a full minute each to load into a save game). Once the game is loaded, I can exit and reload the game and the load times are reduced to maybe 3-5 seconds. This just recently started happening as I haven't had any problems in the past. Games seem to be running fine with exception of the load time issues. I ran the Alien Autopsy last night and it passed all the checks. Please let me know if you have any ideas that might help. I would be greatly appreciated.
In addition, I think this error came from somewhere in Windows or Windows Update?
Windows Problem: Video hardware error
Files that help describe the problem:
WD-20140423-2231.dmp
sysdata.xml
WERInternalMetadata.xml
Windows 7 Home Premium
GTX780M with new driver version 337.88 (downloaded new driver after problems occurred)
Wireless, but dont play online except for connection with Steam

I tried a few things on this list already. I updated my Nvidia Driver, however Dell does have like 20 driver downloads,3 it labels as urgent, and 20 or so that are Recommended. I tried downloading and running the three urgent ones, all firmware updates, and when I tired to run them after they unzipped, they all said device didnt match or something to that effect. Any idea of what drivers could be causing my slow loading issues. My FPS once I get in game is fine, its just the slow initial load time the first time I start the game. The thing that is weird to me is that if I exit the game to windows, and reload the game again, it runs very fast with fast loading times. Any ideas what might be causing that specific problem?

I installed the drivers from Dell it recommended I needed based on their analysis of my system. No change in those load times. I ran 3Dmark and scored a number that was good for my system specs compared to others. I am reluctant to try the factory restore with my stuff actually working, just taking alittle longer. I don't want to lose my files, and making sure I get the back-up down correctly just might not be worth the time since my problem is just a small pain during start-up . If anyone can think of anything else that might help let me know.

You can try a System Restore instead. This will affect programs and applications but not your files.
