Does the GTX 980ms you have have a Clevo vBIOS or a Dell vBIOS?
Make sure your GPUs have a Dell vBIOS and you update to the latest BIOS.

If I may ask, do you have Windows 10 on your laptop?

If you are able to boot into Windows, make sure your GPUs have a Dell vBIOS (suing GPU-Z) and you update to the latest BIOS. And uninstall EVGA Precision.
If you are still getting the 8 beeps, then you may need to get a new LCD. Dell/Alienware has warned users about this problem here. The user who advised you to get EVGA Precision X most likely didn't know this would happen, and Alienware laptops aren't the only ones affected by this, as the thread I linked earlier explains. There is, though, a way to fix the problem without getting a new LCD, bu it does require some know-how (instructions can be found on notebookreview's forum, and they'll be quick to help you on the issue).

Is it detrimental to the device if you re-old cards

What do you mean "unlike the screen wire"? Did you damage it?

No, it's fine.
I'm more concerned with your screen since it isn't functioning. If you damaged the wire that connects the screen to the laptop, you may be able to buy one through Dell or you'll have to find it on ebay.
If you just disconnected the screen's cable, then connect it back to the motherboard and screen. Make sure the connection is firm (like it won't budge).
