Alienware, 5.1/7.1 surround sound issues

In my opinion, this is a huge problem with ALL Alienware pcs. When they were set up, they didn't check if all the RealTek Audio Properties such as the all powerful RealTek Audio MANAGER would work! Which does NOT work on ANY Alienware PCs. I've spent so many hours trying to get it to be enabled and some people have been able to "unlock" the RealTek driver to allow us to use the RealTek Audio Manager. Where there are even visual settings for surround sound, different multi-speaker system setups, Dolby Live, DTS, ETC. I've tried the work around without any success. I've lost over 4 hours just now on that. I've tried numerous versions of RealTek driver, but nothing can override the Alienware Audio Panel, which doesn't allow for any options. There should be a Dolby tab even in the Windows Audio Mixer, though it is not there.

Something is seriously wrong and Alienware/Dell have seriously crippled their system's and their customer's sound cards, thinking when we buy a $3,000+ PC's we won't need more than a stereo speaker setup. There is no official fix for this, nor attention, even though thousands of people have this issue. It is really shameful, I have hooked up my Alienware Aurora R4 to my $1,000 5.1 Home Theatre and all I get via Optical out from RealTek card, which IS capable of Dobly Live, DTS up to 7.1 surround, is 2.1 channel stereo. BOOOO! Need solution now, Dell! Same thing with Hard Drives, good luck getting the system to accept anything but their own, Dell drives as a main system hard drive, they've ripped all the drivers out of the Windows installation other than the ones that support the hardware that they sell. Disgusting.
